Aging and Lost Time

September 11, 2008 · 3 Comments

I have wrote many times about lost time, because it seems when you are dealing with cancer treatments you lose it along with your sense of humor, your mind, and everything else that you lose dealing with all of this “stuff”.

AgingThe other thing I have noticed, is that you sure age none too gracefully with cancer treatments, I have now noticed a few more wrinkles that I didn’t have before. I use to just have smile lines, now I have all these frown lines and yesterday I discovered a new wrinkle along my mouth that looks pouty :(   I also now have a frown line between my eyes that looks like it could be the beginning of the Grand Canyon… What’s that all about?  I know the treatments dried my skin out and made me frown a lot but did it have to be a permanent fixture on my face?

My treatments not only left physical traces behind, it also has left a lasting impact on me…
